Past Award Winners
Sue Brandt McBee, co-founder of the Austin History Center Association, was the first recipient of the Katharine Drake Hart History Preservation Award in 1991.
Dr. Maggie Rivas-Rodriguez, founder and director of the Voces Oral History Center at UT, was the 2019 Recipient of the Katharine Drake Hart History Preservation Award.
Gloria Mata Pennington, a community leader and preservationist, was the 2020 Recipient of the Katharine Drake Hart History Preservation Award.
