Oral histories are one of the AHCA's most important annual projects. Each year we conduct videotaped interviews with 15-30 citizens, then, transcribe the audio to print. The interviews and print transcriptions are transferred to the Austin History Center for future analysis by historians, researchers, and authors writing about what came before.
