Dam Drama Roils History Mysteries

One of Austin's earliest efforts to harness the power of nature gets the AHCA History Mysteries treatment this Thursday, Sept. 22 at 6:45 pm.

AHCA Membership Committee members Linda McCoy and Jeffrey Dochen will unpack research and photos from the Austin History Center to tell the tale of how Austin residents have tried, and sometimes failed, to tame the Colorado River.

History Mysteries events are free and open to AHCA members and guests via Zoom. They’re made possible by Waterloo Education, Shelton Properties, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, and the Blind Pig Pub.

Check your email for your invitation and RSVP soon to reserve your spot!
