Grant Boosts AHCA Oral History Efforts

The AHCA just received word it has received a $4649 grant from the Lola Wright Foundation. The grant will help fund the AHCA's work in the field of oral history, one of the cornerstone projects of the association.

Each year, AHCA volunteers conduct videotaped interviews with people who have helped shape Austin history in some way. Transcriptions of those interviews and the videotape are then donated to the Austin History Center for future analysis by historians, researchers, and authors writing about what came before.

Learn more by visiting the Oral History section of the AHCA website.
